Age of Heroes
**Age of Heroes** is an **18+ roster-based comic book roleplaying game**. Players may choose approved canon characters from Marvel, DC, and other approved comic-book sources, or create Original characters built specifically for Earth-4201. Canon characters are claimed from the roster. Browse the available characters, find someone you want to play, and submit a claim. If the character has already been approved, the process is simple; if the character still needs final approval work, the claiming player will finish the required background, abilities, and profile material. Original characters are created through chargen and receive a separate staff review for concept, powers, limitations, resources, canon connections, and setting fit. Our setting is a flexible modern superhero world where major comic-book locations can exist side by side. New York, Gotham, Wakanda, Asgard, cosmic realms, magical dimensions, hidden kingdoms, and street-level neighborhoods all have room here. The goal is not to reproduce every issue, reboot, movie, show, or publisher continuity exactly. Canon gives us history, powers, relationships, enemies, and context; play gives us room to tell new stories. Age of Heroes is **story-first** and **consent-first**. We welcome street-level patrols, cosmic threats, magical trouble, investigations, team-ups, public heroics, secret identities, slice-of-life scenes, romance, complicated relationships, found family, and long-running plot arcs. This is an adult community with adult players, adult characters, and adult themes. Mature content may include violence, language, trauma, horror, romance, sexual content, and difficult relationships. Consent, privacy, content warnings, and clear boundaries are required. Fade to black is always valid, and players are expected to respect each other's limits.
