believed before he woke the ancient power that devoured him and ripped
Caspia asunder.
Though that power was defeated, the conflict drew the interest of others
who would destroy our world and those in it. For now we hold an uneasy
peace, defending ourselves against minor evils while even greater powers
still sleep.
