Pokemorph Paradise

Over 75 years ago, the Rainbow Rocket army was brought through Ultra Wormholes to conquer this world. With the majority of soldiers made up of hybrid creatures made from a combination of Pokemon and humans, the Pokemorphs and Humorphs were creatures unlike anything seen in this world before. When Rainbow Rocket lost the war, the portals were destroyed and left behind the people, pokemon and ‘morphs from across a dozen different multiverses on this world. Deemed as abominations responsible for war crimes under the invading army, these souls were trapped in a world with nowhere to go. From across the Legendaria Sea myths emerged and offered a sanctuary to those unwanted. With hundreds of thousands of refugees around the world, the Pokemon League of different regions worked to transport the ex-Rockets to this unknown land. With only themselves and the myths who’d offered them this home, the residents of the newly founded region, dubbed Paradise, went about building themselves a place to call their own. Ultra City was founded on the Bay of Perserverance on the largest island of Haven. This city has fallen twice only to be rebuilt again, a testament to the tenacity of this growing community. Paradise is unlike any other region in the world, untouched by the outside world’s influence except for the occasional sanctioned trading ship, built on the wreckage of the technologies and memories of a hundred different worlds. It has grown under the guiding hands, claws, fins, and wings of those neither fully human or Pokemon. Within Ultra City lives by far the largest population of citizens of Paradise, a tangle of mismatched buildings traversed on foot or wing by the city’s eclectic population. The Great Tree stands tall over the capital city, higher than any skyscraper, its branches reaching out over the different quarters as an evergreen reminder of how all those in Ultra City grow together. Built on the backs of refugees from a war not won, Paradise is not exactly that for all its residents. Though most aim for a better life for themselves and those around them, the spirit of Rainbow Rocket lives on in the Loyalists, who think little on stepping on those around them to better themselves and their cause. Despite the time that has passed, they hope one day to reunite with Homeworld and have something to show for all their years of loyalty.
