OtherSpace MUSH got its start in 1998, taking players through a series of five story arcs that saw powerful ancient aliens thwarted, the rise and fall of powerful empires, and the journey of a colony ship called Sanctuary. It continued, with varying levels of activity and in different formats (including on Slack and Discord), until going on hiatus in 2020. Now, in 2021, the space opera set against the backdrop of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy begins anew.
