Midgard is a free-to-play text-based MMORPG (MUD) set in a richly crafted Norse Viking world inspired by the Edda and ancient sagas. Set around 867 AD, you begin as a nameless Viking or shield maiden in Haithabu and forge your own legendary saga through exploration, combat, and choices that shape your destiny. The gods are real here: Odin tests the seekers, Thor honors the steadfast, and Loki laughs at those who think they are in control.
